I'm Alex, a Professional Photographer based in Swansea Wales, UK.
Im Married to Rachael and a proud dad to three amazing children: Brooke, Madison, and Tyler.
When I'm not capturing beautiful moments through my lens, I'll be exploring new destinations, staying active with my passion for fitness and sports, or enjoying a captivating movie.
I draw deep inspiration from the natural beauty that surrounds me and the rich tapestry of personal connections. My work centers on capturing timeless, natural, and creative moments that reflect the essence of each individual, couple, or family.
My journey as a photographer began with a desire to freeze fleeting moments in time and to tell stories through imagery. I believe in the power of a photograph to evoke emotions, preserve memories, and create lasting connections. Every click of the shutter presents an opportunity to encapsulate the magic of the moment.
I established Creative Apertures Photography over 15 years ago and have documented life moments for over 300 couples as a wedding photographer in Swansea and beyond, a privilege I cherish.
While I call Wales my home, my lens is always ready to capture beauty and love wherever it may lead me. I'm thrilled to offer my services not only in the UK but also internationally. Let's embark on a photographic journey together and create everlasting memories.

My Approach
My approach to wedding photography is strongly influenced by my own wedding photography experience.
For instance, whilst our photographs are a wonderful reminder of our special day, our photographer took quite a lot of our time. That means, I am acutely aware that my clients want to hug their family and party with their friends, and I understand that time is of the essence.
I pride myself on working extremely quickly, ensuring minimal impact on the precious time of my clients, which is so fleeting on their wedding day.
Always aiming to work in an unobtrusive photojournalistic way, capturing the day as it unfolds. I only ask for 30 minutes for your couple shoot together and just enough time to complete your family photographs. After that, the rest of the day is entirely yours to celebrate.
In other words, there's no dragging you off for lengthy photoshoots.
